Timmy's Grandparents

It was only about a five hour drive to North Carolina. We had to pass through Southern Carolina which was fairly uneventful. Tim's Grandparents live on a secluded cul de sac with a large plot of land. You sure can get more bang for your buck if you don't live in the big cities or on the coast. Tim's grandparents are just as I remember them and they somehow remembered me, even though its been forever since I saw them. I'm sure I'm much taller and good looking now. We all went out for dinner at Red Robin. It was the second meal that I had today that made me feel fatty. I need to go back to eating peanuts and trail mix.

Their house is really cute and Tim's Grandma was so excited to show us around. She has a whole room set up for her dollhouse and Tim's Grandpa's nascar models. They were both very generous and I could tell they were excited to have us over. I really appreciate their hospitality.

Before we left North Carolina, we stopped at Tim's aunt's house. They have a really nice house right on the river. She was very hospitable and gave us a tour of the premises. Two stories tall, a second apartment/garage, a boat on the lake. It was very nice.
