A late start...

Tim Burrows and I have been planning a road trip for about a month. Tim suggested it and I agreed it would be fun and being professionally unemployed, I had no great excuse not to go. Our tentative plan is to drive to New York hitting various landmarks and cities on the way. I of course did not pack until the day of. I have problems getting myself in the mindset for change. But I figure the trip will be a really fun experience if for no other reason than to be able to tell people that I've been across the country. And I also figure this blog will be a good way for me to get back into writing.
Anyway, after a slow start, we made a quick stop at the AT&T store so Tim could set up internet tethering on his iPhone. I say quick stop but it was in fact an enrage-ingly long stop. The flamboyantly gay man at the counter wouldn't stop hitting on the only customer service representative. AFter a good twenty minute wait, he left but not before we witnesses the painfully awkward attempt at hugging the AT&T guy. Long story short, We have internets and I will be posting periodic updates about our exciting adventures.
Right now we're on the 10 heading to Arizona to see my Aunt...Second Cousin...whatever, Cindy. Also I'm hungry.
