Tim is back in the driver's seat. Lots of driving. We're having trouble uploading photos due to network issues but we're still taking them. As soon as we hit some wifi I'll upload pics to go along with their corresponding posts so be sure to check back on older posts. I aslo plan on mass uploading all pictures to Facebook eventually.
We are in New Mexico and just stopped at a rest stop at the Continental Divide, which Wikipedia tells us is a big 'ol trail. Border patrol was there. I said hello. It would have been funnier if I had said "hola." We passed through the time zone change and jumped an hour ahead. Keep that in mind if you wanna call either of us. That combined with upcoming daylight savings...we're going to be very confused and possibly tired. Definitely a lot of time traveling.
We're about 2 hours from White Sands National Monument where we'll look at some white sand. Then onward to our campsite near Carlsbad. The woman I talked to about reservations was very nice. Unfortunately we're probably going to arrive at 9pm and have to set up our tent in the dark. The tent that we bought yesterday and have no experience setting up. It should be fun.
